Château de Chambrun
Located in the satellite appellation of Lalande-de-Pomerol, this château was purchased by Jean-Philippe Janoueix in 1994 who changed the name from Clos de Chambrun to Château de Chambrun. It was sold to Swiss entrepreneur, Silvio Denz, in 2007. Denz also owns two Saint-Émilion high profile estates - Château Faugères and Peby Faugères. Since 2007, he has added almost 5 hectares to his original vineyard purchase and today, the estate stands at 6.8 hectares in total with 94% Merlot and 6% Cabernet Franc. He produces two wines - their flagship red as well as a high-end cuvée from their best parcel of 0.7 hectares.
